The CT4-V Blackwing hit the roads in 2022, and when it did, it was part of an elite team. Sharing the nameplate with a few other Cadillacs, this one is powered by a 3.6L twin turbocharged V6 that makes 472 horsepower, and 445 lb-ft of torque. This engine is a monster for the size of the vehicle, and in tests done by Car and Driver, the numbers are even more staggering.
In their tests, they found that the CT4-V Blackwing can go 0-60 in just 4 seconds. For a production model with the Cadillac name, this is more than excellent. They also found that the top speed is 189 miles per hour, making this a fun track toy. Car and Driver also noted that this model is "refined enough to be comfortably driven daily".
If you plan to drive the Blackwing daily, you'll be happy to know that this model comes with a decent fuel economy. The EPA has found in their tests that the CT4-V Blackwing gets 19 MPG combined, and while it's not the best, you have to keep in mind that it is designed for speed.
Moving on to what makes this a Cadillac, and not another manufactures name, the CT4-V Blackwing comes with front seats with 18-way power adjustments and heated cushions, and if you're lucky, you may find a model that is outfitted with ventilation and lumbar massage.
Being that this is a bit of a smaller model, you'll find that the 8-inch touchscreen that it comes with is actually a decent size. Coming with phone connectivity, you'll be able to enjoy your favorite playlist on the 14-speaker AKG stereo that comes standard.
With the 2023 models, Cadillac did something special to commemorate the models success at IMSA SportsCar Championship racing series. To do this, they released three track editions, limited to 99 a piece, these came with unique looks that can't be found elsewhere. While these will be rare to find, if you do manage to come across one, you'll be part of an elite group.
When 2024 came around, the V-Series turned 20, and to celebrate, the Blackwing was equipped with vibrant colors. These colors are Velocity Red, Cyber Yellow Metallic, Coastal Blue Metallic, and Black Diamond Tricoat. No matter what you might come across, you'll be the standout wherever you are.
Much like the 2023 models, the 2025 models paid homage to the trailblazers of Cadillacs past, and this takes the form of CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud Edition. Limited to just 50 copies, these will be the rarest ones on the market, at least for now. Coming with Magnus Metal Frost matte paint and accented by Stormhawk Blue Carbon Fiber, this model will definitely be unique everywhere you may be.
